European Heritage Days

A warm private viewing, with a toast to friendship

The exhibition was opened by Mr Jean-Pierre Becquet, Mayor of Auvers-sur-Oise, accompanied by Mr Jackie Breton, Vice-president of the Val d'Oise Regional Council and chairman of the Château d'Auvers-sur-Oise company, and Mrs Marie-Cécile Tomasina, Events Organiser of the Château d'Auvers-sur-Oise, surrounded with numerous artists and guests. The restaurant of the Château, 'L'impressionnist'Café', remained open exceptionally on this occasion. Much appreciated.

During the European Heritage Days

The exhibition managed to draw a varied audience. Hundreds of visitors walked leisurely across the 'Orangerie' room, reserved to small format paintings, as well as in the park and the garden of the Château, where an often playful complicity could be witnessed between sculptures and the public, as can be seen here.
